Colonsay Gin is inspired by the island of Colonsay which is just off the west coast of Scotland. It has been created by two of its islanders, husband and wife team of Finlay and Eileen Geekie.
The traditional botanicals used in Colonsay Gin include juniper, angelica root, calamus root, coriander seeds, orange peel and orris root.
Hearty helpings of bright, oily juniper greet you right away, with earthy/root-sy notes in tow. A touch of citrus sweetness develops underneath.
