Woden was the first gin from the Microdistillery in Bristol. It is a classic London dry gin with juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica root, cassia bark, fresh grapefruit zest and fennel seed. It is perfect in a G&T with a large wedge of grapefruit or in any classic gin cocktail.
Made using British wheat and distilled in 30ltr hand made copper stills. Woden consists of Juniper, coriander seed, cassia bark, angelica root, fresh ping grapefruit zest and fennel seeds.
On the nose it is bright and zesty with upfront juniper. On the palate it starts out juniper heavy and then gives way to citrus and finishes with the sweetness of fennel.
As a classic gin it is best served with a good indian tonic water and garnished with fresh grapefruit. it also makes a fantastic Negroni.
