Esker Gin is the result of two years’ distillation sampling. The flash of inspiration was to add silver birch sap and Esker are the first gin distiller in Scotland to use it. It adds a touch of sweetness to the spirit and helps balance the depth of flavours.
Esker Gin is created in a traditional copper still with over a dozen responsibly sourced botanicals including heather, milk thistle, peppercorn, citrus and silver birch sap tapped from the trees of Kincardine Estate.
The spirit is blended with pure Aberdeenshire Deeside water to create a modern gin with distinctive juniper and hints of citrus and spice. Silver birch sap is key – it complements the other botanicals to create a smooth, full flavoured gin.
Perfect Serve: Add your preferred tonic, ice and twist of orange zest.
